The parameters found in the LED lightings

Time:2015-10-20 Views:2319 Compile:SUNPER

Here are some of the confusing parameters of the LED lightings that are worth knowing. Prior to that, the following are the two basic concepts of efficiency for a single LED.

Single LED luminous efficiency

The first one is the single LED luminous efficiency of 1 watt of power per input. It is also good to know the amount of light output which is the measure of the single LED luminous efficiency indicators instead of the measure of the entire light emission efficiency indicators. Thus, for proper luminous efficiency of the single LED you should only consider the basis of the whole light-emitting efficiency.

Single LED conversion efficiency

The second one is about the single LED conversion efficiency. This means that there should be a certain amount of power per every 1 watt of power. Generally, the luminous efficiency is more than the conversion efficiency is normally used to assess the level of development of the chip. LED efficiency is highly applied in environment but is generally used to assess the quality of a number of LEDs without considering driving. This is the LEDs direct emitting total power consumed in the lamp board to light board volume ratio. Such wattage and lumens are calculated as the number of streams that reflect average luminous efficiency of the LEDs number. As a consequent, this helps to determine the quality of LEDs number.

LED driver efficiency

Another confusing parameter of the LED lighting is the driver efficiency. This is the ration of the input drive power as well as the drive output power. The other parameter which is the focus of everyone is the entire lamp luminous efficiency. The formula used is usually very simple to follow. This is because it just involves the total number of light emitting lamps and the ratio of the total power input. The total amount of the light fixture structure conversion rate is the whole light luminous divided by the board luminous. This is due to the fact that the optical conversion efficiency for lamp structure generates a little special. Its normal definition is the ratio of the light emitted from the whole light of which at least one translucent panel causes light attenuation.

The hole light efficiency

In a typical case, it is mostly the efficiency of the whole light as well as the single LED efficiency that makes users to be a bit confused. The relationship between the them is that the whole light emitting luminous efficiency is equal to the application of lamps beads you less the driver conversion efficiency then you less the light conversion efficiency of the structure. In this relationship, it is clear that the entire light efficiency is usually less than the luminous efficacy of the single LED efficiency. This is in addition of the impact to the above. When this comes to the driver conversion efficiency lamps, there is an overlooked problem in the light impact structure. The lighting structures affect both the impacts caused by diffusion plate and the side emitting types of lamps thereby causing the efficiency to be low.

However, it is of great importance noting that efficiency is a complex concept in LED lighting. Efficiency is not static though it always changes depending on the environment.
