1. Life comparison
LED hibay is basically a semiconductor diode and its source theory of life is very long. The principle of this hibay is to meet within the required temperature range section, L70 light fades standards. However, the entire life of the lamp light source is not very easy since lighting also includes a lens of the affected parts. Therefore, at the end of life, the lamp should have all the parts of the lamp. If flux attenuates to 30 percent, the life expectancy will be 50,000 hours while that of the metal halide lamp is 6,000 to 12,000 hours. The life expectancy of the high-pressure sodium lamp is usually 20,000 hours.
2. Lighting effects comparison
To effectively look at the lighting effects, it is important to look at the CRI LED white as well the dimming function.
● CRI LED white
The LED hibay color temperature is about 3500K to 7000K. It has a Color Rendering Index of 80 to 93. On the traditional high pressure sodium lamp, the color temperature is about 2000K to 2500K with a color rendering index of about 20 to 30. By the above comparison, it is seen that the results include low pressure sodium lamp color rendering index, the color of the object itself, color difference, reducing the difference as well as the depth of the surrounding environment is not very conducive to judge. The LED hibay color rendering index is very good and thus the actual color of the object can be restored easily despite being white cool. In the case of HPS, the color is relatively close to the natural light. The luminous efficiency of the LED is slightly better than that of sodium. This is because it has the development of the LED technology and thus the light efficiency is highly improved.
● Dimming function
The LED hibay has a better dimming function. The LED lamps light output and the operating current is proportional. Thus, it can reduce the current approach to dimming. In addition to this, the LED further pulse width modulation method is used to adjust the light by adjusting the voltage, duty ratio and the operating frequency.
3. Luminous efficiency and utilization of light
The LED hibay light flux with conventional light sources and LED lamps are light emitting half-space. HPS is the entire space luminous light and thus you need a half-space of the light changes direction towards the other half of the space. There is no loss in the use of the LED lamp as the light source. Currently, the LEDs are at 80 to 110lm/w while the high pressure sodium lamp may reach to 140lm/w. The HPS spectrum is relatively concentrated in yellow and the color temperature is 2000K to 2500K through and strong and fog.
4. Comparison on environmental protection and energy saving
The LED hibay lights are energy efficient and they have ultra low power consumption. The energy white LED is only a tenth and a quarter in an energy saving incandescent lamp. The LED light source does not have any harmful metallic mercury. The high pressure sodium lamp light source metal containing mercury, sodium metal and subsequent waste disposal on the environment are pollution. There is also LEDs shock resistance and also convenient transportation. There is also solid package and therefore it is very easy to transport and install.
5. Comparison between the cost and structure
The LED hibay grainy are more obvious and have more concentrated luminous location. Thus, the LED light just needs to do a better design by trying to extend the point source into surface light so as to improve your eye comfort. There are many products that can do LED dimming in order to save energy. Nowadays, most of the manufacturers design and produce LED hibay that are heavy weight and mostly they are more than 5 kg. This weight is very good as it tend to make the poles overloaded thereby reducing wind resistance. LED hibay help to maintain constant brightness thereby saving energy costs.
